Express Property Services started life in 1999 as a small company specializing in locksmith repairs and related carpentry.
The company was incorporated in 2002 and Alan Hammick, who founded the company, is still the Managing Director and oversees all aspects of the company today. Although starting life solely as a lock and door repair and replacement company, Express Property Services soon branched out into general maintenance and today covers all aspects of property maintenance from redecorating contracts to safety testing.
Although now a larger company, we still retain our personal, friendly and helpful attitude. Many of our original staff members remain with us today providing a proven record of excellence both at our head office and, equally as important, when performing maintenance tasks on site in our clients’ homes, business premises or tenanted properties.
As the number of trades we offer has grown, we have combined our Property Maintenance services to offer a multi-service response for a wide range of clients including private and commercial landlords with a small property portfolio, housing associations, house builders, charities, estate agents and facility management companies.
We now have contracts and carry out work for companies in several sectors ranging from larger commercial companies such as Liverpool Victoria and Bilfinger Europa through to smaller local estate agents such as Andrews and Anne James.
We continue to excel in locksmith and door repairs enabling us to service and maintain locks under guarantee throughout the UK for several national lock manufacturers and door manufacturers and we also still carry out a wide range of works for private individual customers.
We take responsibility for each job however large or small and pride ourselves in keeping the same high standards of quality and organisation whether we are replacing a lock for a local private customer or implementing a large contract for one of our commercial customers.
We do not rest on our laurels and continually strive to further perfect our services whether this is by staff incentive schemes, better organisation or by improving software packages.
We have had many favourable reports regarding a recently installed new computer software system which allows interested parties, such as landlords and letting agents to remotely log into our job tracker system for an instant update on the progress of each of their jobs.
Based in Longwell Green, our premises includes a call centre handling customers jobs as well as a trade counter for the sale of products and services to the public. We are perfectly placed to serve Bristol and Bath and with easy access to the M5 and M4, we are also able to cover the whole of the South West with ease.
Currently, we have several contracts that require us to operate in areas such as Exeter, Cardiff and Southampton proving our commitment to covering the South West in its entirety. We are immensely proud to have just won a two year tender from South Gloucestershire Council to contract for a range of our property maintenance services.
